DR. MICHELLE LAKE'S BIO: I am an Industrial Organizational Psychologist, and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida, Maryland, and Nevada, an author, and a content creator. I am also a Qualified Supervisor for Mental Health Counselors in Florida. I have over 10 years of experience conducting consultations, training, executive coaching, organizational development, program development, and performance management. I have over 15 years of experience conducting mental health counseling for children (8 years and older) and adults. I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, postpartum depression, depression due to fertility issues, grief, adoption issues, ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, workplace stress, and relationship issues. I also specialize in Health Psychology issues such as treating depression and anxiety associated with chronic health issues like cancer, diabetes, high blood pressure, chronic pain, smoking cessation, etc. and Occupational Health such as employee wellness. I have a Doctorate degree in Organizational Learning and Leadership with a specialization in Human Resources, a certificate in Industrial Organizational Psychology, a Masters degree in Counselor Education with a specialization in Mental Health Counseling, and training in Family Mediation and Parenting Coordination. 

I have devoted my life to helping others make positive changes in their lives. We all face obstacles and sometimes feel like we do not have the strength to overcome these obstacles. However, within each human spirit is the power to thrive and overcome life's challenges. I am passionate about helping my clients tap into their inner power so they are able to resolve their problems, heal, and live happy and emotionally healthy lives. I do this by establishing caring, genuine therapeutic relationships with my clients whereby I empower them to make positive changes through the use of a holistic approach and various therapeutic modalities. I am also passionate about helping organizations in various fields (healthcare, education, technology, etc.) expand, resolve performance issues, improve their organizational culture, promote employee wellness, and achieve their ROI so that they can be successful.
